Don't forget about dolly when getting jammies for the family!
One of my fondest memories as a child was receiving handmade pajamas from my grandma and when I reached into the pocket of my PJs I found tiny PJs for my doll! I will never forget that feeling of delight when I discovered the doll version she made.
I was lucky enough to grow up with a sets of handmade clothes for my baby dolls and my Barbies, made for me by my mother and and grandmother. I remember turning them inside out, inspecting the seams and looking at how they were made. In fact, my first memories of sewing were staying up late at night making clothes for my Barbie doll!
So, of course, our handmade fashionsat Studio Dawnatella must have doll versions!
And, it's a great way for us to use up the scraps of fabric in our production process. It's possible that dolly's pants were cut from the exact same piece of fabric that your PJs were cut from -- ensuring we reduce our waste by any means we can. My grandmother, who grew up in the depression and never let anything go to waste, would certainly approve!
